Sue's Answer

Dear Ashwin, thank you for your mail. There seems to be such a vital interest in NLP in India now. I was there working last year and am hoping to be there again next year. In the meantime I would recommend that you get in touch with Ashok Subramanian who is my contact there and who has organised the trainings that I have run there to date. He has the dates and the plans for my future work there and can advise you on what is available in India. The standard course to get to a position to be able to certify others in NLP requires that you successfully complete a Practitioner training usually 12 - 14 days followed by a Master Practitioner usually another 15 days or thereabouts and finally a Trainer training which is usually 2 weeks. The time it takes depends on the company with whom you do the training but that is the recommended time frame. You can of course offer trainings in NLP whenever you choose but the times that I have given you are what is required to be recognised by most authorising bodies and I believe to get the level of expertise to fully understand and skilfully use NLP with others.

Sincerely Sue Knight
