From practitioner to master — marian wood — Sunday, August 29, 2004

Sue,

I'm reading your book NLP At Work and I'm completely ‘hooked’. I would like to get on a practitioner course run by you as soon as I can and have looked at the available dates and the earliest seems to be 14-16 March 2005, which I'll definitely go on if there isn't one any earlier (but I'd like to come earlier). How long, realistically (but working very hard) would I be able to get from a practioner to a master practitioner in NLP?

Thank you in anticipation
very best wishes
Marian Wood

Sue's Answer

Dear Marian, thank you so much for your mail. In answer to your question it takes as long you take to learn basically but we do recommend attending a training programme where you get practise and feedback. I do have a programme that I am running in Denmark so that starts before my next Practitioner in the UK and I am starting a Masters in the UK In October and we do occasionally get delegates who do the masters first and the Practitioner afterwards. It is not the usual order but if you were prepared to out of hours reading and work it can be done this way. If you would like to know more just email me and I will be happy to help.

Sincerely,
Sue Knight

Dear Sue,

Thank you for getting back so promptly, much appreciated. I would be very interested to know more about the ‘Masters’ in October (is it the dates already listed on your site, where's the venue?). I'm prepared to work ‘hard’ and read up alot beforehand.

many thanks
Marian

Dear Marian, the venue is Henley on Thames well just outside. Another option would be to do the Introducing NLP first or to do that as a distance learning programme. That would give you a foundation as does the book but you do not of course get the experience though the book but take a look at the dates of the masters and yes they are the ones listed on the web and just ask me anything you need to know. I am in France at the moment so am free to pick up mails more or less most of the time when we are not cycling!!

Sincerely,
Sue Knight
