Hi Sue, I attended the NLP entry course last year and was sufficiently bought in that we are due to meet again this year starting in May. Since we last met I have progressed my desire to become a sporting coach by gaining a formal rugby coaching qualification, all very nice of course...so what is the question ? The rugby coaching is going well but being a novice NLP’r I am having to really think about how I can utilise my (albeit basic) NLP skills to help better my coaching techinque and the results I have with the individuals I coach (under 16’s). Any hints or areas of focus I could particularly concentrate on ? Thanks in advance and see you in May, Keith |

Dear Keith well we can really work on this when we meet in May and in the meantime you might start by exploring how the people you coach set goals for themselves. Have you read the chapter in my book about well formed outcomes? I think that I have some sporting examples in there. I have written quite a bit about sports people and sporting scenarios in NLP at Work.. Have you read any of it? Noticed the examples? And congratulations for acting on your personal goals... Sincerely, |
