Well “The Week” was not the end… the amazing experience has carried on. as ever there is so much I would like to share with you but i dont have enough space in my day today. I’ve learnt that I can make a connection with anyone that I choose to. On day one of the course I noticed the differences in other attendees and wondered: Will I fit in? Will I like them? The weekend went well, both Gill and Mark are in teaching, we've been friends for 30 years since high school. I guess they noticed a more attentive and free flowing me, Ghandi was mentioned in the same breath and I laughed that off. Gill likes to talk, Mark has learned to listen, although he likes to talk whenever she stops. She also likes to understand things, but seemed to struggled when I tried to explain the whole body aspect of communication and my experience with the NLP in France. They did go home saying they felt the weekend had included some enlightning conversations and that was fun and different. More…

I got into work on Monday and was asked to do 2 presentations at our team away day (only one of which I'd seen before). I decided to try out ”self-consciousness is self-indulgence“ and used a really playful presentation style, full of fun. I took a few risks, used audio, visual and kinaesthetic styles and even anchored some spaces in the room! More…

I was riding my horse ready for my big competition next week, practicing and having a training session when it all came together brilliantly. We were in the ZONE and in the "flow". This for me was communication at its upmost. It was almost as if the horse could read my mind, we were connecting at another level as I was really just being in the moment, feeling “what is it that the horse needs and wants from me now for us to get the best results”.
