Introducing NLP—Coaching Special in Tuscany, Italy

Can you imagine a more magical place to start your NLP journey than in Italy? So much history is rooted in Italian soil.. Maybe your journey towards excellence will be too... Italy holds memories for me of warmth, passion, rich experiences and stunning landscapes laced with olive trees and blossom.

Stay in a beautiful villa situated close to a mountain stream that flows down the lower slopes of the Pratomagno Mountains. The Villa, including an adjacent restored farmhouse, contains warm, inviting apartments and rooms, which bear the names of famous Tuscan artists. Villa la Grotta is also within easy reach of the main Tuscan cities, Arezzo, Florence and Siena.

And the programme itself…

Coaching has always been a key theme throughout all the NLP programmes that I run and this one is a special – both an introduction to NLP and in particular how to use it as the basis for coaching yourself and others. Coaching is my life.. it is what I do one to one and it is my style when working with groups (coaching but on a group scale). Coaching means supporting people to continually realise their true potential.

Of all the techniques that I have used over the years (and there have been many) none has come close to NLP for its power and influence in the context of coaching. I love NLP for this because with it we can give the ownership of the coaching and the learning to the person being coached. And at the same time the approach relies on the coach’s ability to engage with the process and to be learning for themselves simultaneously.

So this special two day programme is both a foundation for NLP and an introduction to the ways in which you can engage in this high performance coaching for you as much as for others. So you do not need to be a coach to learn from these two days and at the same time you may already be coaching as part of your work. You may use it just for your own development just as you might use it to enhance your work in developing other people.

My experience with coaching has spanned many years and I am inspired by many exemplars including Gene Early (master of NLP modelling and coaching), Frank Farrelly (genius of Provocative Therapy), David Grove (originator of Clean Language and Questions), Ernst Rossi (disciple of Milton Eriksson), Peter Honey (of Behavioural Analysis and Learning Styles fame), and of course John Grinder and Richard Bandler – founders of the concept that is NLP.
