Hi I’m Mike. When I set up my own coaching business the best decision I made was to go on an Introduction to NLP course run by Sue. I went on it because I believed that it would give me additional credibility as a coach and that I would be able to impress potential customers and clients by telling them that I had ‘done’ a programme on NLP. I discovered very quickly that it wasn’t at all about ‘doing’ NLP to others but about applying it to myself and so, thanks to Sue, I have been on an amazing journey since early 2005 which has been, and continues to be, enriching, enlightening, emotional and enormously rewarding. My NLP learning, which has continued from Business Practitioner through to Master Practitioner and onto Trainer Training, influences all areas of my life; I have even recently started taking dancing lessons which, come to think of it, is a very appropriate metaphor for my NLP journey: learn a few initial steps, practice them, experience it, get some feedback, learn some more steps, continue to practice and keep on doing it.
I have benefited hugely as a person, as well a coach and trainer, from working with Sue and all the people that I’ve met on her programmes. Inspired by this, my intention and desire is to ‘let my light shine’ because in doing so I know that I enable others to do the same and help them to blossom, develop, grow and fulfil their potential.
I live in West Sussex with the most important people in my life who are my wife Alison and our two daughters Rebecca and Emma. They are very precious to me. My favourite things to do are playing tennis, watching films and TV, reading and, of course, perfecting my foxtrot.
